Skates.

The girls brought their skates with them today.

So, a good part of the afternoon was spent outside with them on.

Here they are posed outside the new play area that is in the park not far from our house.

It's thanks to Alexandra that we've got this new play park.  She complained to our deputy mayor that the old park was getting a bit tatty.

We didn't expect anything to be done for ages, as there are a lot of these parks around, and replacing the equipment is very expensive.

But a couple of weeks ago they tore the old one done, and now we have this nice shiny new one.

Not sure when it's going to be opened though.
