Holyrood park

Today has flown in and I feel like I have been driving here, there and everywhere and on those journeys been through Holyrood Park goodness knows how many times???

Firstly I picked up my husband from his morning shift, then we took the car to the garage where it had been recalled for a new part. Next stop was Ikea for a brunch and a wander.
We then decided to pop over to my sisters house, she wasn't in when we arrived but I gave her a call and she said she shouldn't be long but I was welcome to cut the grass which had been needing done for ages. I decided I may as well and was in the middle of doing it when she got back. Ended up leaving it and went with her to get her husband from the hospital after his check up. Got back to her house and my husband had decided to finish cutting the grass, well that was until the heavens opened!!! We stayed a couple of hours before I gave my husband a lift back to work.

I stopped off in Holyrood Park for a walk and an ice-cream. There was also a wedding party there getting some shots done but I didn't get any that I was happy with. Called the garage to see if my car was ready but she said it probably wouldn't be ready until 5pm. Decided it wasn't worth going home and back out so went to Fort Kinaird retail park instead and bought something nice for tea from M&S.

Back to the garage then home. Not long now until my husband finishes work again so will soon be back out the door.

Phew, so much for a relaxing few days off!
