Bakewell Carnival

The magnificent Bakewell Carnival, Derbyshires premier carnival, excelled itself today with a gorgeous weather day welcoming huge crowds.
One of my favourites of many was the Manners Mary Poppins tableau seen here.
They had excelled themselves again with not only a brilliant tableau and fab costumes but also a great dance routine.
Other highlights were Night Rider which was a giant Mad Max motorbike and the always fabulous float from the Wheatsheaf which was a massive and I mean massive steam engine with the theme of the Lone Ranger.
A brilliant day.
