A great birthday present

I requested a speaker for my laptop. I found it hard to hear BBC sounds over my sewing machine sometimes so I wanted a speaker with volume control. However this one links up with Bluetooth (a new departure for me) and I can leave my lap top when I go wandering and carry the speaker with me. I feel like the crocodile who swallowed a clock in Peter Pan and highly technologically advanced!
Spent chunks of yesterday listening to Paula Vennels giving evidence. Dear oh dear. She was and is clearly out of her depth. Promoted beyond her capabilities but fatally keen on self protection from the consequences.
