The Dragons Are Out
It started off wet again - but didn't last long.
Our hosts had an interview at the British Embassy this morning to see about getting the visa for the BILs wife coming back to live in Britain again. She is an American but went to university and lived here for 9 or 10 years but never took out citizenship. After that she had a doctors appointment, so we had a quiet morning at the house soaking up some sun and watching the dragonflies jousting over the pool.
After lunch we set off with the BIL to a shopping mall ....... a real one! - where all the shops ranging from high end to supermarket are open with customers.
We then headed back to the pottery village as I wanted another box (just a normal one - not a 'magic' one. I got what I was after and SWMBO got a smaller 'magic' one and a box of ceramic drinks coasters. We declined another look at the rugs/carpets - as beautiful as they are there is no way we could afford the shipping and import costs.
We would have liked to visit the Chellah - a Medieval fortified necropolis with connections back to Roman times, but unfortunately it is shut at the moment for some reason and the best I got were the 3 drive by shots on the way to the potteries.
