Rainy...

Grey, rainy, windy and cold today. I went out about lunchtime & found my first curlew chicks of this year - video here. Their parents were close by (blip) and guarding them fiercely.There was a 3rd curlew in the next field that obviously annoyed them - not sure what it was trying to achieve.

The blip shows the difference in beak length between the male (short beak) and the female - longer beak.
