A Damp Day in Kirkwall

Slices of haar in all directions.  A momentary clearance in Kirkwall.  It has to be said that the barley, and the tatties, needed the rain.  It is a shame that it has been timed to coincide with the start of the Folk Festival.  After a brief spell in hospital my Mum is back in the Smiddybrae Care Home.  She is currently very fragile but rallied to ask me to make her a cuppa.  And bollocked me for making it too hot!!  Bibs has been working at her jigsaw.
