The finished masterpiece

Today my art group went to Lilleshall to the International Watercolours Masters Exhibition.  There were well known artists from over 35 countries exhibiting their pictures and some were doing live demos.

Most of the paintings were stunning with big prices,most £1000 - £3000. Needless to say, I didn't buy one!

This artist called  called Joe Dowden (from England) painted this picture in an hour, he had done some preparatory work though.  The sound wasn't good but it was still great to watch him painting.

Afterwards we went for a lovely meal at a local pub.  My aubergine, sweet potato and lentil plus salad and toasted focaccia was delicious.

It was a lovely day out in good company.
