A Good Day in Middle England

Sitting in the Black Knight at the end of a very enjoyable day back in Sutton. Kind Niece-in-law and her husband willing to have our hulking van sitting outside their house. Wonderful meal at the Cock with L’s Sister (who I have known almost as long as L) and her husband who I consider beyond family to be great friends and fellow travellers in life’s journey. A second much smaller meal at J’s as there was little room after lunch’s sticky toffee pudding and now relaxing with amongst other things, the Guardian crossword!
