something old, something new

We had friends round for tea yesterday. It was a relaxed and fun night and the little people got on well.

These little posies graced our table. Sorry about the reappearance of my trusty blue jug (3rd time). Pretty receptacles for flowers didn't feature highly on the list of 'musts' when I was packing our belongings for a 3 year stay in another country. We have only a year left in the US so there seems little point in buying too much else as we have a limited shipping allowance when we return to the UK. That being said I did indulge and buy the lighthouse pot as a coastal New England memento.
