Pal of a pal

Norman has been nattering of for a while that his best mate, Jim, was coming to SA, and he wanted us to meet each other.

Pipe dream we thought as he was heading to Port Shepstone to meet up with another old mate whom he hadn’t seen for almost 40 years.

Slight change of plan on the way back to Joburg for his flight back to London, and onward to Stonehaven, when he was invited to see another part of his mate’s family in Pretoria.

So, much to Norman’s delight, and happily for us, we spent a couple of hours getting to know each other at the Blind Tiger before it was time for Jim to get the Gautrain to ORT.

Looking forward to another catch up next year as he is already planning a return visit.
