Prickly

It was so wet today (didn’t stop) that I stated wishing I was back in Valencia!
I was volunteering in Save the Children again in the morning (lots of IT issues).
Janet and I headed back to mine after our shift and then after I’d cooked us lunch, we packed up our cars with all the old carpet and underlay and took everything to Eshiels.
I then headed up to Dobbies to meet Carole and help choose a present for our friend Graham (he turns 60 this weekend). I treated myself to this cactus while I was there.
The roads were awful both there and back. Serious flooding. I felt really guilty as I told Carole to avoid the back road and take the bypass. I then changed my mind and went home via the back road and she took 3 hours to get back home!
