Nerves

Today in STEM class the kids built boats using aluminum foil, popsicle sticks, tape and random other materials. The goal was to build a boat that could float in the small tub and hold weights as they are put on. Almost everyone's boat held some weights. Some held up to 25 of them, which was impressive. I don't know how much each weight was. But you can see the nerves of some of the kids as they were watching the weights get piled on. Some boats did way better than I expected them to, which was fun.
Tonight I'm going to hear a couple friends play music at the Civic Center and then head to the Irish Session. I hope I can make the whole evening. I'm still a little worn out.
