Tribe ramble

It took a while for the sun to shine but it was warm and there was a buzz around the campsite from first thing. We had a leisurely breakfast of pancakes & fruit before pumping up the paddleboard & going for a mess about on the lake. It was crazy busy so not for me but Anya enjoyed a paddle, Max was brave enough to jump in a few times but his wetsuit was too big and he got cold quickly. It turned out quite a few children suffered from swimmers itch later in the day, something I’ve never been aware of!
The afternoon was spent on the tribe ramble. Rebecca & I walked together, with her girls, Emily & Anna. The uphill was steep and, with the sun now out with force, Max wasn’t impressed. Sweets were needed to encourage them along and all the children were pleased to get to the top & have a little paddle in the pony pool (extra)
Icecreams & milkshakes all round when we got back, pizzas night, campfires, marshmallows & lots of laughs and chatter. We were all ready for bed by 11pm!
