The shredder shredded

As part of our continuing tidy up and decluttering, we are shredding large quantities of documents.  This can put a  bit of a strain on a domestic shredder.  Sadly, an accidentally thick pile of paper fed into the mouth of the shredder caused it to jam - but the motor, which is quite powerful, kept turning and succeeded in tearing off the teeth from one of the cogs.
