Road to nowhere

Six-and-a-half hours it took me to get home.

Six-and-a-half hours. Mostly spent at a complete standstill on the bypass.

Severe flooding. Lovely.

Although the pic looks like the cars in front have had a bit of a prang, in fact one of the drivers was trying to jump start another’s car.  

It didn’t work.

But for a good while, the broken-down car was making exactly the same progress as the rest of us.
