Long Sleeves For The Summer

This torrential downpower was long overdue.

It's been a horrible muggy day although there was a similar cloudburst in Falkirk earlier this afternoon.

Listening to ATV family favourites and old mates Gene's John Peel sessions album. Ah, the memories.

Unfortunately it would have been far better as a BBC sessions double cd which would have allowed for far more material to be trawled from other shows including the Albert Hall show they performed with orchestra and brass band and during which my son is referenced.

Some of that has been released on additonal cd singles back in the day but the full set was a class apart.
