Santillana del Mar and Adiós Santander

We packed our Airbnb up early and said goodbye to our host Silvia . Then we went back to Playa del Poo for coffee and on to Santillana del Mar, a medieval town not on the coast as the name might suggest. It’s a honeypot but some ancient buildings and cathedral. We just had a wander in the sunshine.
Then to the ferry port at Santander- we had to queue for quite a time . Interestingly, there wasn’t as much direction as Cal Mac as to where to place your car etc .
We spent the evening watching dolphins swim under the bow as we sat at the front of the ship . It was a perfect evening for sailing although quite choppy ! The dolphins seem to like to play in the bow wave .
