Alpaca's

Today Teresa, Amy and I rode bikes through Skagit county. Absolutely beautiful and wonderful experience. We rode by this place where they raise and sell alpaca's. My Dad had bought 5 alpacas as an investment years ago. Each one cost $25.000.00. Alpacas are prized for their luxurious and costly fiber which is harvested by shearing once a year. The alpaca gestation is 11 months, so breading them has proven to be a good investment.
