Beasts
Following on with our get up and get out plan, we managed an early breakfast then a hike a couple of miles up the beach around the coastline and up to a sculpture park.
There are 100s of sculptures from artists all over the world set in the rocky volcanic landscape. I took a lot of shots but tbh you could easily spend all day here working out best angles and compositions.
Inevitably my blip was an unexpected subject. - During the hike I strolled into a field of alliums growing in the sparse rocky landscape. The alliums were very popular with what looked like large parasitic wasps, perhaps there is a wasp expert in the blip community?
In extras is a lizard , rather a Sling Tailed Agama, we played a bit of standoff. I edged to within 18inches , with little response apart from an eye-roll.. Eventually it got bored and took off.
