Prepping For D-Day

The 80th anniversary of D-Day is on 6 June. Cycling up to North Weald airfield today we spotted a group of parked Dakotas including this one. It's the historic That's All Brother. 

It was the leading plane flying paratroopers into Normandy and was destined for scrappage before being discovered by historians and rescued. Today its crew, including Mindy here, have flown it to the UK from Texas and it will go on to Normandy for the commemorations.
