Birthday girl

Amber is 7yrs old today. She is a poppet and we would be lost without her company. 

Town this morning for a hair appointment and odds and ends of shopping. The rest of the day has been quiet. 

One unexpected success was being able to book patient transport for B’s appointment for a minor op mid June. We expected it to be in Derby, but they are doing extra sessions in community hospitals to manage the waiting lists. This one will be in Ilkeston, never been there, so don’t know it, but looks to take about an hour to get there. It will be a long day. 

I expected B to be going on his own but the lady asked if I wished to go with him as it will be a taxi and no one else will be going from here. I can be the responsible adult if he has sedation. 

Need to organise a bit of knitting or crochet for the day.
