The Gates of Versailles

Well we had to see the tourist sights, but wow, the crowds. Unbelievable. At least we saw it slightly differently, doing a day trip with The Fat Tyre Bike Tour Company. D did their tour of Paris itself last year and was impressed, so we thought we would try them for Versailles. While we certainly got to see a lot, I think it was an expensive option in the end. Glad I did it, but wouldn't rush back.
