Enjoying the Poppies

It was a jobs morning after we dropped Euan at Nursery, with some relaxation time and I took the opportunity to tidy up my photo folders and do a little prep on my two ongoing Blurb books.  Apologies for not commenting but I will be catching up when we are home.

It was swimming lesson this afternoon for Euan and Becky arrived home in time for lunch then we headed out to collect him from Nursery and drive to Abingdon.  The lesson was a bit chaotic, six four year olds can be a handful!  But Euan is on the edge of being able to swim without 'muscles' and much more confident in the water.  Afterwards, Grandad needed some plants to infill a corner border in their garden so, after Waitrose shopping, we drove to Notcutts Garden Centre.  Just inside the entrance was this lovely display of poppies and Euan was entranced by the bees and bugs busy around them.  In my blip, he was laughing at one bee which was going backwards and forwards between the same two poppies.  It was certainly clever marketing by the garden centre as we came away with two of the mixed pots, one for Becky's garden and one for ours.

Euan's Dad Rob arrived home from his business trip at dinnertime and there has been much hilarity since then before a late bedtime.
