In my garden
A saxifraga flower.
I’m not sure if this is one of the alpines we brought up here or not. Callum repotted some, had some new ones in existing pots, moved some on into the main bank of earth, so it could be old or new.
Either way, it’s very delicate and pretty.
We have friends visiting this weekend, and whilst we knew they were arriving today, we thought we might not see them until tomorrow as Pete was calling into one of his work centres on the way. In the end they arrived at about 4pm, so we got to spend a few hours with them before they booked into the hotel. Linda gave me a beautiful fuchsia which will be taking pride of place on the patio. She knows me so well. Callum was given a bottle of malt. They got that right then too :-)
Having a drive out with them tomorrow, so looking forward to that and showing them some of what we have discovered around here so far.
