Biggin Hill.

A lovely day spent visiting a dear friend who has recently moved back to her ‘home territory).

She lives right opposite the airfield. This is her new house, which requires a whole lot of work, but is a listed building, so lots of restrictions as to what she can do. This is an old airman’s married quarter. Took me back to my childhood living on camp married quarters .

Great to hear and see several Spitfires flying overhead, we never expected it to be such a common occurrence.

It’s an area I’ve never visited before. We were surprised by how high the hills were. Silly really as the clue is in the name! Biggin Hill!
