Damselfly.

We were walking along the canal this afternoon and commenting on the lack of damselflies when this one appeared and landed on MaggieD’s jacket. 
Usually, it is the common blue variety we see so I am not sure just which of the many varieties this one is. Anyone out there in Blipland able to identify this species.
