Pals since baby bellydom, the Anglo-American clan celebrate July 4th.

All our children are American citizens, as yet without duel citizenship, though in each of the families, at least one parent is British. I think we have until they turn 18 to sort that part out.

A hugely relaxing time with friends in Pasadena camping in their garden. Great food, cocktails, campfires, sparklers and watching the Rose Bowl fireworks in the distance. This was our 3rd year doing the same, a milestone that I aimed towards in hospital. Reuben returned home for the one night we stayed and was back next day to enjoy watching everyone else. He's a great observer and whilst he was reserved and nervous, still shaking a little from the narcotics withdrawal, I know deep down he found solace in the experience.

I'd love to post the one including Reuben + one of the clan and may fix it to do just that though I have to admit, this one was rather special.
