Welsh Poppies

Actually the original seeds were collected many years ago from a garden in Wells Somerset where we were on holiday, and years and years later they still flourish all over the garden even in the tarmac by the fence in the front garden. Thy are so bright and pretty.

Met Kirsty and Jess in the woods this morning, she had been to the doctors so wasn't starting work till 10 and decided to give Jess a quick morning walk in the woods.

Well the last 2 days have been dry even if a bit overcast and decidedly chilly in the afternoon. but not a good forecast for the weekend.
