Evening all.

Nearly caught up with the backblips.....(a bit)

Friday morning spent doing something consructive, i:e not sitting in gloomy rooms with gloomy people having pointless meetings about ephemeral nonsense.

I'm not sure on reflection i'm cut out to be a political animal am i....

Anyway much more profitable day all round, even got to spend five minutes watching an RSPCA operative trying to catch a swan by means of an oversize fishing net.....

Swan didn't like it much and was quite clear in registering its displeasure, which is probably why the RSPCA lady had gloves on, shame she didn't have shin pads really as the Swan gave her a fearful whack across the legs..

Such language from a lady representing the crown, shocking.
