To the ER

Made it through the night but feel awful.   Decided to take a covid test before we took off for the ER to figure out this sob thing.   I was so surprised it was positive I did it twice!  but that explains yesterday.     They tried to admit me to watch out for me a day or 2, but after 5 hours, we just wanted home. The ct scan shows some small covid pneumonia  (“mild ground glass opacities” ??)  and few signs of cardiac failure but first we need the paxlovid to take care of this virus.   It was an experiment to try to go up to the island with loose ends…I can see this summer will be all broken up…but we’ll get back there.     So far H is fine.

Just liked the pretty colors of the CT machine… getting ready for the next patient.    It’s all very efficient really and we’re lucky to live so close. (One of the reasons they let us go but I think the breathing is  better already.)     Thanks for your concerns!
