A Grand Day out!

We set off very early today to catch up with an old friend of mine. We all met at the Wheels and Wings show at Heveningham Hall in Suffolk. We were one of the first to arrive and one of the last to leave, all in all a great day catching up with Dan and seeing some great exhibits.

My biggest problem was which photo to use as my Blip, we saw The Blades Aerobatic team (fantastic), some beautiful Suffolk Punch heavy horses, immaculately turned out pulling drays and farm equipment. An equally beautiful Shire pulling a little gig cart and both driver and horse once again perfectly turned out. The grounds the hall we magnificent with wonderful wildflower planting. Anyway I plumped for Big Pete.....a monster truck which, along with the Grim Reaper Monster Truck (!) put on a display......loud doesn't come into it and very entertaining with the driver of Big Pete doing the commentary. I thought this looked slightly odd to see a Monster truck with the stately home in the background.....who'd have thought! :)
