Cow common

I took an evening tip out to Cow Common between Chilbolton and Wherwell as a bit of a reccie for later in the week. I got there at 8, and the low sun was making all the grasses in the field glow.

I got talking to a lady walking her dog who was waiting for the cows to move to let her through (she was worried that the dog might upset the cows). She told me that the cows cross the river as they overnight under the trees on the far side.

I had a wonder around, but spotted later that the cows were crossing. A sprint back to the river to get these shots of them crossing.
