Another afterglow

Another walk at the hippodrome just after the sun had set. The dog likes the morning or evening walks as the rabbits are usually active and he can stalk and then chase them. This year he hasn't got vaguely close, but he's caught them in the past. Poodles aren't sight hounds so he's easily distracted when there are a lot of rabbits to chase, whereas a greyhound would pick just one and chase it down. Poodles use their nose and brain to hunt - so the rabbits have the advantage even though he is faster than they are...

The next phase at work is progressing well. The client has asked us to extend the solution to another country. We mostly designed and built it to accommodate that but we were also rushed towards the end, so had to cut corners and not everything was built to the standard I would have liked. Now we're taking stock and going back to correct the various short cuts we had to take and make them proper.
