Sailing Off…
…into the sunset.
(Capt. Dave, aboard She’s a Lady, Bay of Islands, NZ.
I am neither a photographer nor a diarist. Blip is for people who are one or the other, or both. I have typically used photography to record people, places or events. I found with Blip that I was constantly searching for images that might be of interest to others, and I found that came with a certain amount of pressure, self induced, that I did not need. For those reasons, and others, this will be my final blip.
The thing I will miss most is the people, particularly the people who chose to follow my humble contributions.
rustycrapp and campervan made me smile and chuckle on a daily basis. cv, I hope you get to Glastonbury one day soon.
Brianblip gave me a new appreciation for just how beautiful Glasgow is.
HarryJ, alocasia100, and Wanderers13, I wish we had had more time.
bababarbara, I really enjoyed following your travels and seeing your beautiful country.
TimG, you are a photo artist. (I’m blaming you for driving me out Blip…lol)
carolinav, the world needs more caring and concerned people like you. Peace…
BikerBabe and Mrsmacdub, on opposite sides of the world, but your passion and most of all, your caring and kindness, shines through every day.
Last, but not least, my good friends, and former colleagues, Nanzy19 and Dunnie. You twisted my arm, literally and figuratively, to join blip. I appreciate the opportunity, and it was fun for the most part but, if I am being honest, not my ‘thing’. Stay in touch the old fashioned way, and hopefully, we can converge on Red’s pub one day.
‘Bye for now.
