Nine

On my way back from the market I was very pleased to see the Swing Bridge Nine out with their parents (should really call it the Victoria Bridge as it doesn't swing anymore!). There were 10 eggs and they may have been waiting for the tenth to hatch, but apparently the nest got inundated and the last egg swept away in the recent high water. There must be loads of delicious muddy detritus for them to nibble.
