Red Admiral

There were a lot of butterflies around in the garden today but this rather tattered one was the only one that stayed still for me to take a photo. A really busy day as lots needed to be done in the garden. I mowed the back and front lawns, did the edges, tied up all the clematis and sweet peas and the lupins which had fallen right over. I can’t believe how much everything had grown in the short time I was away. I have15 flowers on one lupin plant.
