Bumblesnaps

One bag full

A few years ago, the council paid millions of pounds to modernise the town centre, in the hope that it would attract more businesses.
One of the results was a grass verge almost opposite the town hall, which has been allowed to grow wild.
Almost overnight, it’s blossomed into a sea of wild flowers, including a few large thistles.
This little bumblebee is reaping the benefits of the improvement scheme.
