Trixie's Adventures

Missing Alfie already.................

For those of you who follow our BLIPS regularly; you will know that 'Alfie, the Beardie', has been to stay with us in St Ives for the 'big family holiday'. It was Ann's sister's 60th Birthday last Wednesday so they rented a couple of the holiday lets next door to us and a couple of the family stayed with us, which meant there's been 10 humans and two dogs trekking around St Ives all week. It's been a very busy week for me because I've had at least one of my walks with Alfie every day. (Look back on my BLIPS for the last 7 days.)

It's a bit strange going back to solo walks. This afternoon Ann wanted me to sit nicely next to these flowers (haven't a clue what they are) but I was in 'rebellious mode' so I decided to do rolling around on my back!!! Oh, and then guess what happened, when we came off the coastal path................ I was just about to get clipped back onto my lead when I spotted a big black cat lying underneath a car parked in a driveway so I decided to go chasing................... Seriously?! Normally when I see a cat I just hide behind Ann's legs. Anyway, 'big black cat' arched his back and evil eyed me so I came zooming back to Ann. Phew!

This morning when I went down to the beach for my walk at 7am it was like a summer's day. Now it's cold, windy and wet!!! Just in time for the bank holiday weekend. Ann was supposed to be going out tonight to a fund raiser thing for a local kid who has cancer, but she really can't be bothered. The 'big family holiday' has worn her out! At least she's already paid for her tickets so she'll still be contributing to a good cause.

Soooooooooooo....................... Saturday night is going to be spent chillaxing in front of the TV and cooking food in the newly purchased airfryer and then having an early night. The 'big family holiday' has been lovely, but it's exhausted both of us. I've been snoozing in my bed since 4.30pm!!!

Toodles. xx
