Thirlmere

The road round the back of Thirlmere has been closed for about three years - finally, after much protesting, and public pressure, it has been reopened. I took a drive round the back of the Lake today - it was great to revisit it all, though the heavy rain over the last few days has left the water levels very high - as you can see from the main pic. The waterfalls were also pretty full (extra).
