Last minute change of plan this morning.
Part of tomorrow’s flitting brought forward.
The loading went well.
Nice day for a drive over the Queensferry Crossing into Fife. Older son at the wheel, my wife in the middle and me in the passenger seat.
The unloading went ok; the sofa was manhandled in rather well - with millimetres to spare! It was nice to have somewhere to sit and have a coffee.
We ate a carry-out at the end of the beach, and watched a wind surfer.
Straightforward trip home. Nice to look out the window at scenery for a change.
Part two tomorrow. Our daughter in law, grandson and wee dog will be there. And our younger son will be around - he was at the West Highland Way today.
