Canal walk

Our walk with Callander Ramblers today was along the tow path of the Forth and Clyde Canal. This section is from Lambhill, North Glasgow, to Kilsyth. The canal connects the River Clyde to the River Forth and runs from Bowling in the West to Grangemouth in the East. Build 1780 it was a main route for transporting industrial cargoes such as coal.
