Tom Turkey

Kent & I were out this morning with me checking the wildlife around Sutton Lake. There were lots of turkey hens to be seen today but the best was this Tom turkey with his harem of about 5 or 6 hens. He just thought he was somethin’ strutting his stuff!

When we got home about noon, I really, really wanted to take a nap I was that tired. I would be just on the verge of falling asleep, but could never actually do it. It was so frustrating.

We had a thunderstorm roll through that dropped over 1.5” of rain in less than 15 minutes! The rain was so heavy, I couldn’t see the church across the street. Glad it was a short lived storm.
