raccoon

6:00 am, while we sat outside by the backdoor drinking our morning coffee, a raccoon sauntered into our backyard. We have a plastic garbage can lid filled with water in our yard. The raccoon came for a drink. A crow saw the raccoon. It squawked. The raccoon hurried into the forest.

The polarizing filter seems to enhance the contrast in this photo while it was actually unresponsive when I turned it and making no visible difference.
