Grey Heron

There were only 2 heron today, Jekyll (pictured) and the adult male. Initially it was only Jekyll who got a great uninterrupted feed. The adult male eventually joined us. It was very wet and a Sunday, this means that there are fewer people going through the park and I think this confuses the heron and they think it is earlier. The coots were there though and got enough fish to feed the chicks.
There was also 2 crows and a magpie.
