A WALK AROUND THE APPLE ORCHARD

Two weeks ago I kept getting glimpses of posters advertising the location of an Apple Orchard Day. By the time I found out where the venue was it was two late for me. However my curiosity had been aroused and on Friday I set my phones satnav to guide me to down a maze of lanes and finally a track. The destination was a single cottage with a car parked alongside. After introducing myself I was guided to the site of apple orchards and introduced to another person and then I was let loose amongst the orchards. The blip shows the layout which comprises of 24 varieties of apple trees. I think I’ll be picking apples this autumn.
