Chimney pot

Daughter Anna brought this chimney pot home, along with two others, when she was at university in Manchester . They are lovely for displaying plants, although at the moment there is just ivy in this one. I sometimes wonder what the house was like that this one came from. Was it a little terraced house from a back street, or was it atop a grand mansion?

After I had posted my blip we had torrential rain and sunshine so it had to be photographed. I wanted to share it so it is on extra.
