I didn’t think it would be this wet ....

Heavy rain for much of the day. I made some scones and did some reading. Between downpours I notices these two little sweeties perching on a plant pot. They are probably from the same brood I posted 2 days ago. Whilst human offspring are dependent on their parents well into and often beyond their teens, the same cannot be said of Robins -  left to their own devices just a day or so from fledging. They are already scratting around the patio for tasty beasties , whilst their parents are no doubt preparing for another brood.
