Shared meal

It has been a busy day with an early start to prepare the service and to lead the bellringing as our tower captain is away. I went on to the parish meal and we were able to sit outside despite the threat of rain. In fact, the rain did not materialise and the tennis planned for the end of the afternoon was possible. We have a new club member and I had agreed to hit some balls with him as he has not played for 12 years or so. He looks like he will be a very useful addition to our team if he decides to play in competitions.
