Caged Watcher

A tiny wren keeps a watchful eye. Their nest box is near by and that's probably her/his concern. The metal fencing is to protect plants and shrubs from deer browsing. It has an open top anyway, so the bird is definitely not trapped. S/he could fly through the holes regardless. Wrens have such a loud and cheerful song.
